The Role
The focus is to provide legal and research support to the foundation’s operational and program teams. You will contribute to a broad range of matters relating to climate policy, environmental regulation, corporate accountability and governance. Duties will include:
- Conduct legal research and drafting documents, memos and correspondence
- Support litigation, regulatory and compliance processes
- Reviewing contracts, agreements and MOUs
- Monitoring legislative and regulatory developments
- Maintaining legal databases, records and case files
- Providing administrative support to the legal function
Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Legal Studies or related field (Paralegal certification desirable)
- 2–4 years’ experience in a paralegal, legal assistant or similar role
- Strong legal research, writing and analytical skills
- Knowledge of environmental, climate or public interest law desirable
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Comfortable working remotely across time zones in multicultural teams
