The Role

The focus is to provide legal and research support to the foundation’s operational and program teams. You will contribute to a broad range of matters relating to climate policy, environmental regulation, corporate accountability and governance. Duties will include:

• Conduct legal research and drafting documents, memos and correspondence
• Support litigation, regulatory and compliance processes
• Reviewing contracts, agreements and MOUs
• Monitoring legislative and regulatory developments
• Maintaining legal databases, records and case files
• Providing administrative support to the legal function

Skills Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Legal Studies or related field (Paralegal certification desirable)
• 2–4 years’ experience in a paralegal, legal assistant or similar role
• Strong legal research, writing and analytical skills
• Knowledge of environmental, climate or public interest law desirable
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Comfortable working remotely across time zones in multicultural teams
