The Organisation

Well-regarded Victorian based NGO requires a skilled Fundraising and Events Consultant for a temporary period up until 30th June 2020.

The Role

Working under the Marketing, Partnerships, Fundraising and Communications umbrella, you will be responsible for a variety of fundraising and events activities. 

As the successful candidate you will work closely with the General Manager to deliver in the following areas: 
  • Strategic development - contribute towards the development of the Fundraising and Partnerships Strategy
     
  • Fundraising - grow fundraising revenue through a variety of activities including donation appeals and community fundraising campaigns

  • Events - plan, develop & manage new and existing events

  • Partnerships - manage existing corporate partnerships and attract sponsorship income. 
About you

This position will suit candidates with circa 2+ year's experience specialising in both fundraising and community events activities within the not-for-profit sector. 

Additionally, you will have:
  • Availability to interview between 22nd - 24th January with a view to start the following Monday
  • Capacity to commit up until 30th June 2020
  • A qualification in either Fundraising, Event Management, Marketing, or possess equivalent working experience
  • A clean Victorian Drivers Licence 
  • A willingness to present or undergo a WWC and National Police Check
  • Volunteer management is *highly regarded*
  • A current membership with Public Relations Institute of Australia (PRIA) and or with the Fundraising Institute of Australia *highly regarded*
