Our client is a market leader for the safe and responsible collection and recycling of e-waste in Australia. We create and manage complete.

The Role
Reporting to Manager, Finance & Member Services, you will be responsible for:
  • Providing a responsive, courteous, helpful advisory service and functional support as required including contributing to Board packs, presentations, reports and papers
  • Maintaining, compiling, analysing and preparing periodical reports for regulatory, member & stakeholder programs or assurance purposes and to guide and inform decision making. Make recommendations to improve efficiency, cost management and service delivery
  • Processing and maintaining accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, banking, credit management, PAYG, BAS, FBT, Payroll Tax, asset records and associated administration and reporting activities. Assisting with Payroll to backup Payroll contractor
  • Maintaining and continuously improving electronic and manual administrative systems, company registers, communication channels and processes necessary to maintain and enhance the professional profile, products, services, information management and efficient and effective operation of the business.
  • Participating in environmentally sustainable work practices, identifying workplace environmental and resource efficiency issues, following organisational plans to improve environmental practices and resource efficiency and making suggestions for improvements to workplace practices in work area.
  • Contributing to specialised projects, process improvement and other initiatives and enhanced reporting requirements
  • Communicating effectively, sharing information and working cooperatively with team members to contribute to the achievement of individual, team and organisational goals and member experience

Skills Required
You will be an experienced Finance and Accounts Coordinator or Assistant, with the following attributes: 
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to analyse data and evaluation options
  • Customer focussed
  • Follow association financial guidelines and standards
  • Possess and understanding of applicable legislation, regulations and other standards
  • Knowledge of MYOB, XERO, Employment Hero (ideally), Excel (pivot tables, graphs, v-lookup, data presentation), plus Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Personable and professional attitude
  • Working with Children check and Police check (can be conducted once offered role)
  • Covid vaccination
This role offers variety and responsibility. As an ideal candidate you will possess 5 plus years experience in accounts receivable and payable, and possible payroll.
Payroll experience would be advantageous, together with experience in managing and maintaining financial and Payroll systems in data analysis, modelling and reporting.
Candidate must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident, hold a current drivers license, and be able to provide a satisfactory National Police Check.
