The Organisation

Our client  provides assistance and support for children's media that delivers on our aspirations for the children's audience and we distribute children's media all over the world.

The Role
  
Reporting to CEO, you will be responsible for:
  • Providing administrative support to the CEO and legal team, including fielding phone calls, managing diary, travel receipts, correspondence, filing, research preparation of reports and presentations
  • Providing similar support to legal team, without the diary and fielding phone calls aspects
  • Scheduling internal ACTF meetings and Board meetings
  • Organising events (very occasional requirement) such as staff celebrations, board lunches, Parliament House screening
  • Responsible for the booking and organisation of travel for all ACTF office travel
  • Office management including dealing with building managers, other tenants, cleaners, general office maintenance issues
  • Proofreading documents such as reports, Board papers, submissions etc
  • Providing cover for reception if necessary
This role offers variety and responsibility.  The ideal candidate may have a background or passion for arts, but most important is your ability to communicate well, particularly on the phone when requesting appointments with various professionals for the CEO.


Skills Required
  
You will be an experienced Executive Assistant, with the following attributes:
  • Excellent phone manner, comfortable with follow up and booking meetings
  • Confident in speaking with members of groups and boards
  • Experienced in creating smart business documents and presentations
  • Sharp eye for detail and organisational skills
  • Advanced MS Office
  • Personable and professional attitude
  • Working with Children check and Police check (can be conducted once offered role)
  • Covid vaccination
