The Role
  
You will be part of a team who are responsible for promoting and organising OCA’s fundraising events and campaigns. Working closely with the Development Manager, you will coordinate, encourage and support fundraisers to ensure their own community events are a success.
You will do this by:
  • Support the team with implementing community fundraising and donor retention strategies across digital, direct mail, telemarketing and SMS channels
  • Coordinate P2P community fundraising campaigns, including events such as the FIA award-winning Workout4Women
  • Oversee all supporter care communications, ensuring a positive fundraiser and donor experience
  • Work with an incredible community to help bring their fundraising events to life

Skills Required
  
You have 1 to 2 years’ experience in fundraising or events within the non-profit sector, or relevant experience from other industries. You’re also able to demonstrate the following;
  • Familiar with promoting community events, either face to face, online or over the phone
  • A good understanding of community engagement and data-driven direct marketing or fundraising campaigns
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong attention to detail
  • A working knowledge of CRM’s and experience with data analysis
