A well-established not for profit, our client is dedicated to improving the lives of women with cancer through research. Passionate about improving outcomes and quality of lives for these individuals, they have a wide network of members, hospitals and academic facilities, locally and globally, assisting in the achievement of greater understanding of the causes, prevention and treatments of cancer.

The Role
  
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and working closely with the board and senior management team, you will be responsible to:
  • Support the Board, Audit, Risk and Compliance Committees through creation and distribution of reports
  • Assist with company secretary duties and governance coordination
  • Work closely with the Finance and Business Manager on senior administrative tasks
  • Office management duties including coordinating meeting agendas and liaising with suppliers
  • Undertake the role of system administrator for key central policy and legal processes
  • Be the first point of contact for members and the organisation as a whole
Skills Required
  
You will have experience in procedure and process management in a professional environment, either in a governance, legal or secretariat function and hold:
  • Board coordination experience, including providing support for a company secretary
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage projects and competing deadlines, with effective senior stakeholder engagement
  • Advanced levels of Outlook, Microsoft office – Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint applications
  • Exposure to operating in the NFP sector, in a senior administrator or executive officer role
