The Organisation 

Internationally renowned education institute requires an interim Manager of Advancement for a six-month period. 

The Role 

Reporting to the Director of Community Engagement, you will be responsible for overseeing the organisations philanthropic and fundraising activities.

In this role you will:
  • Lead, develop and manage a team of  5 direct reports 
  • Assist your team through a period of change and innovation
  • Work with the Director of Community Engagement to develop a strategic plan of a successful philanthropic program
  • Continue to build and advance relationships with donors
  • Provide direction for research for growth of prospects
  • Ensure regular reports are provided 
  • Oversee the annual giving program. 
As the successful candidate, you will have:
  • Similar experience leading philanthropic and fundraising operations
  • A proven record of managing fundraising programs and campaigns
  • Advanced leadership experience and a willingness to nurture a young team
  • A Victorian Drivers Licence
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (philanthropy management, business, community relations or related disciplines) 
  • Availability to start work immediately and commitment to see the contract through
  • Experience working for an education setting is highly desirable.
