Our client is a multi-disciplined not for profit organisation, committed to creating positive change, growth, and empowerment through early intervention and prevention programs. With a grassroots origin as a small resident’s action group, this organisation has grown to encompass a large community base, dedicated to delivering high quality programs across adult education, legal services, family services, and community activities from multiple locations across Melbourne.

The Benefits

The Role
  
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will be responsible for:
  • Provision of high level administration support to the CEO and board members
  • Diary management, including arranging meetings, preparation of agendas and minute taking as required
  • Accurate and timely preparation of briefing materials, reports and correspondence
  • Undertake board committee secretarial duties in consultation with the CEO
  • Assist with events management, compliance, governance and legislative requirements

Skills Required
  
You will be an experienced senior administrator, familiar with the not for profit sector and hold:
  • Excellent attention to detail, with strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and meet competing deadlines
  • A confident communication style and the ability to liaise effectively on complex and sensitive issues
  • High proficiency in MS Office, Zoom and desktop publishing applications
  • Current Working with Children and Criminal Records Check
