The Organisation
  
Our client is a non-profit community organisation who specialise in home and community based support services for frail aged people, people with a disability and their carers, across south west Sydney and surrounding areas. They offer a range of services which improve health outcomes and quality of life for people of all cultural backgrounds.


The Benefits

The Role
  
Reporting to the Corporate Services Manager, you would be responsible for:-
  • Lead the workforce planning process to meet staffing needs
  • Develop, implement and monitor organisational WHS and compliance procedures
  • Support new staff recruitment via selection, appointment and deliver induction and orientation
  • Manage training and development programs and identify staff to partake
  • Foster a respectful and hardworking culture and support performance management systems


Skills Required
  
You will be experienced as a manager in the area of human resources and have:
  • HR background within the not-profit sector
  • Knowledge of the community services sector, either disability, aged care or CALD
  • Experience contributing to and applying contemporary HR procedures and practices
  • Ability to interpret legislation, regulations, Awards and Industrial Agreements
  • Confident communication skills whilst managing competing demands
