The Organisation
  
Our client is a leading scientific institute and this role is working for the foundation, which is the fundraising and marketing arm of the Institute. It raises awareness and vital funds from individuals, trusts and foundations, corporate and community groups. They are looking for an experienced Database Coordinator to provide crucial support to all their program areas.

The Role
  
You will be responsible for aiding in the implementation of best practice database management. It is vital for this role to be able to preserve database integrity and deliver a wide range of reporting support.
  
An understanding of CRM Raisers Edge is essential and duties will include:
  • Supporting the Database Officer in producing lists for appeals and regular giving campaigns
  • Facilitating and managing regular data imports, ensuring best practice standards are delivered for all teams
  • Providing support for users' data requests and enquiries, and explain data concepts in easy-to-understand terminology
  • Providing file specifications when required


Skills Required
  
You are an experienced database coordinator from either a database and support services or donor processing background, with a sound understanding of structural principles of a CRM, specifically Raisers Edge. Working harmoniously with a small fundraising team, you will have clear communication skills both written and verbal to ensure shared data is managed and analysed effectively. You will have 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role within the not for profit sector.
