The Organisation
  
Our client is a leading scientific institute and this role is working for the foundation, which is the fundraising and marketing arm of the Institute. It raises awareness and vital funds from individuals, trusts and foundations, corporate and community groups. Based in Sydney, this is a temporary contract working approx. 20 hours per week.

The Role
  
This role is responsible for ensuring donors receive a high standard of customer care and are provided with friendly and informed interactions over the phone, via email and online. Specific responsibilities include:
  • Ensure the fundraising database (Raisers Edge) is accurately maintained
  • Responsible for developing and sharing reports on donor activities and trends
  • Work with the fundraising team to ensure efficient donation processing
  • Action any donor requests, opening mail, batching donations, scanning of files and receipting of gifts
  • Administration work including data entry, archiving, overseeing volunteers and RTS processing


Skills Required
  
You are an experienced administrator, with an understanding of various fundraising streams. Your customer service skills will enable you to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Prior knowledge of working with Raisers Edge is essential and an interest in not for profit organisations preferred. You must be able to start immediately and commit to a 2 month contract.
