The Organisation
Our client is a national representative body, collaborating with government and non-government community agencies in relation to policy, programs and activities that support and strengthen families and communities.  Supporting member organisations across each state and territory, this organisation is future-focused, friendly and collaborative.

The Role
Work cohesively with team members and the CEO to achieve the strategic goals and objectives of the organisation, whilst also providing support to board members. Duties include:-
  • Delivering executive level administrative support to the CEO and board
  • Work collaboratively with Program Managers to deliver exceptional programs that support and meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders
  • Establish and implement organisational systems and processes to ensure smooth running of the office
  • Coordinate diary, email and travel management, prepare correspondence, documents and presentations for the CEO
  • Assist the CEO as required in the development of the Annual Report and other required statutory information
  • Attend selected meetings, take notes/minutes as required and follow up on agreed actions

Skills Required
You will have previous experience in a similar role, at an Executive Assistant or Board support level and will be able to demonstrate:-
  • Clear, confident communication and writing skills
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and MYOB
  • Working with boards, preparing AGM’s, agendas, taking minutes and producing board packs
  • Successfully managing competing priorities and work to deadlines
  • Some knowledge of the community and/or early years’ sector would be highly regarded
