The OH&S Business Partner position plays a leading role in the People & Capability team and broader organisation. The successful candidate is responsible for coordinating the Work Health & Safety and OH&S functions across the organisation. Your responsibilities include;
- Developing and maintaining policies, procedures and processes to meet legislative requirements
- Develop and contribute to the WHS governance and reporting framework, ensuring appropriate records are maintained.
- Complete WHS inspections, risk assessments, hazard identification, ergonomic and manual handling assessments
- Provide specialist coaching and advice to managers, staff and contractors
- Administer the WorkCover function.
In addition to your substantial WHS and wellbeing experience, you will also have;
- The availability to start immediately, on-site and WFH for 4-6 months
- A demonstrated understanding of OHS legislations, regulations and Australian Standards
- Experience administering WorkCover functions
- Substantial experience in the development of effective safety systems, safety program coordination and return to work processes
- A current WWCC and Police Check
- A clean and valid drivers license
- Demonstrated commitment or understanding of the early childhood sector
