The Organisation

Our client is a well-known mental health advocate based in the heart of Melbourne.

The Role 

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will help deliver integrated communications activities to build awareness through public relations and the media. 
  
The successful candidate will work alongside a passionate and collaborative team. Responsibilities will include;
  • Developing and monitoring media and communication strategies
  • Creating online and print publications 
  • Writing quality content for a variety of platforms e.g. website and twitter
  • Identifying media opportunities and responding to enquiries from journalists
  • Writing and preparing campaign material for publication and broadcast
  • Encouraging responsible reporting around a range of mental health matters.
Skills Required
  
You will have a background in not-for-profit marketing and/or communications, ideally in the mental health space.  Additionally, you will be a powerful storyteller and will possess strong copy-writing skills across a range of channels.

You are an excellent coordinator and can manage multiple projects at once and have the ability to develop a meaningful dialogue with supporters and external stakeholders. 
  
This position will suit an experienced candidate who is passionate about matters relating to mental health.
