The Role

Reporting to and, working closely with the Senior Manager, Grants & Foundations, you will develop and implement strategies that align with Barnardos’ mission and goals and drive revenue growth. As the Trusts & Foundations Manager, you will be responsible for securing vital funding through relationships with trusts, foundations, and other grant-making bodies.
  
Your primary focus will be on securing and managing strategic relationships, writing compelling grant proposals, and ensuring timely and effective reporting on grant outcomes.
  

Skills Required

You have a background in communications or fundraising and experience with grant writing and submissions to trusts and foundations, stewarding key relationships and an awareness of the Australian philanthropic landscape.
Your experience also includes:
  • Implementation of income-raising strategies to successfully deliver against revenue targets
  • Translation of program logic and activities into compelling grant applications
  • Researching trusts and foundations or philanthropic donors
  • Ability to communicate and effectively influence at all levels
