The Role
Reporting to the Data Team Lead in Europe, and collaborating with the large international data team, the Regional Senior Researcher provides technical support and expertise for T&E’s coalition-building efforts for key transport hubs across APAC. The initial focus is research and analysis on emissions reduction in the maritime and trucking sectors. Other responsibilities will be to:
Skills Required
You have a strong commitment to strengthening your transport and maritime decarbonization expertise and a passion for climate and energy analysis. You have experience in advanced quantitative analysis, including data analysis, regression analysis, and modelling ideally from a climate, energy or transportation context. Maritime, shipping or truck/transportation experience would be highly regarded. Ideally you have also worked with programming and qualitative analysis.
You are confident in your technical abilities, and you have strong communication skills. You thrive in dynamic political environments and can translate complex analytical information into compelling and influential visual content to encourage change. You must have working rights in Singapore and ideally you speak an Asian language.

The Role
Reporting to the Data Team Lead in Europe, and collaborating with the large international data team, the Regional Senior Researcher provides technical support and expertise for T&E’s coalition-building efforts for key transport hubs across APAC. - Develop/apply advanced quantitative analysis techniques to further T&E’s mission
- Utilize technical expertise to develop compelling data visualisations
- Collaborate with T&E’s extensive global data team to develop high quality deliverables
- Lead analytical research into maritime and trucking work across APAC
- Write technical reports, assist in policy briefings, and present research findings
