The Role
Reporting directly to the College Principal and as a member of the College Leadership Team, the Director of Advancement will lead an integrated strategy across philanthropy, communications, marketing and community engagement.
You will strengthen the College’s philanthropic culture, deepen community partnerships, and enhance its reputation and reach. With a possible major capital campaign on the horizon, this is a transformative leadership opportunity to shape Terrace’s next phase of growth.

You are a senior advancement or external relations leader with significant experience in philanthropy, fundraising, or stakeholder engagement, ideally within education or the broader for-purpose sector.
You bring a track record of leading high-performing teams, securing major philanthropic support, and managing multi-stakeholder portfolios. Strategic, collaborative, and values-driven, you combine commercial acumen with warmth and authenticity and thrive in mission-focused environments.

- Represent Terrace with distinction across stakeholder and alumni networks
- Work closely with the College Foundation and Chair to advance a culture of giving including stewardship of major donors, alumni and supporters
- Liaise regularly with the School Advisory Council to ensure alignment between advancement strategy, community engagement and College priorities
