The Role
A rare opportunity for you to use your extensive administration and coordination skills to bring together an important community program supporting indigenous youth.
In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating, scheduling and providing supporting administration to the program. Your success in this role will be guaranteed by your attention to detail, effective and clear communication skills, and ability to juggle many tasks at once.
Your exceptional communication with everyone involved will be essential. Stakeholders include schools, community members, sponsors, participants and their families.
Previous scheduling and booking experience will be highly regarded, together with your ability to bring together many moving parts to implement a successful program.
By far, the most important aspect of this role will be to develop and nurture relationships with local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, industry, community and government contacts to improve the quality of the program. This will be achieved by your clear and professional communication, and your caring attitude towards helping people.
Your strong social and cultural awareness, including an understanding of issues impacting on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island youth, will also be invaluable.
Skills Required
To excel in this role, you must bring the following:
Annual salary of $70,000 plus 10.5% superannuation, together with phone allowance.

- Emotional intelligence and strong cultural awareness
- Proficiency in program coordination, planning and scheduling
- Exceptional time management, organisation and attention to detail
- Ability to effectively communicate & build relationships with a range of stakeholders
- Current drivers licence and Blue Card, or eligibility to obtain
