The Organisation

The Australian Literacy and Numeracy Foundation (ALNF) is a national charity assisting people in marginalised communities to gain vital language, literacy and communication skills. ALNF’s specialised, innovative and proven programs address the needs of a diverse range of individuals and communities specifically supporting First Nations, refugee and other vulnerable Australians.

The Role

This is a varied and diverse role that will allow you to utilise your skills as an experienced administrator. You will be responsible for providing efficient administrative support to Programs team including management, trainers and delivery team to ensure the smooth facilitation of programs. 
  
Responsibilities include:
  • Maintenance of training and program records, including for accredited Certificate courses
  • Assistance with calendar management, Zoom bookings, and reminders
  • Collection of comprehensive data on a variety of impact measures
  • Draft, format, and proofread a diverse range of written materials
  • Arranging domestic travel including regional and remote
  • Collation and ordering of program resources
  • Office administration and reception duties
  
Skills Required

You are an experienced administrator who enjoys diversity in your day and being in a central role supporting team and organisational success. Ideally, you’ve worked in a similar role for a not-for-profit organisation or you are looking to move from corporate administration to gain work-life balance.
  
Additionally, you have:
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Impeccable attention to detail, accuracy and communication skills
  • Ability to manage a database and sound computer literacy
  • Experience in arranging domestic travel
  • Alignment to ALNF’s mission and values
