The Role
This interim team leader role will include day-to-day management of a medium sized telehealth team and will include but not be limited to:
- Lead the clinical phone counselling team
- Providing debriefings to senior counsellors
- Managing client complaints and provide accurate reporting
- Responsible for employee timesheets and leave approval
- Support for senior counsellors regarding staff rostering
- Internal and external stakeholder relationship management
Skills Required
You will be an experienced clinical team lead and have a genuine passion for supporting individuals, their families and carers living with a disability and will possess the following:
- Post Graduate studies in psychology, social work or counselling (or other relevant field)
- Counselling practice experience
- Experience in leading clinical/counselling teams preferably including telehealth
- Strong stakeholder engagement, leadership and management skills
- A demonstrated understanding of appropriate counselling/practice frameworks
- The ability to manage professional services via telephone and online modalities
