The Organisation
  
Cystic Fibrosis Community Care (CFCC) is a peak not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting the Cystic Fibrosis (CF) community in New South Wales and Victoria. Founded in 1974 by a group of parents of children with CF, they have a rich history of working across several key focus areas including Programs and services, research, fundraising, public awareness and communications, information, plus education and advocacy.

The Role
  
Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Fundraising, you will work to increase community participation in events and peer to peer campaigns, streamline existing processes and recommend new initiatives to achieve fundraising targets. This includes maximising revenue and support for key events and campaigns. In addition:
  • Manage the planning, promotion and execution of events, including Great Strides, Crazy Hair Day and 65 Roses Day
  • Increase engagement and revenue by building on current partner and sponsor relationships
  • Manage community fundraising income and expenditure budgets, in line with the strategic plan
  • Lead and inspire two direct reports
  • Develop an annual fundraising program to help continue grow the loyal group of community fundraisers
  • Regularly liaise with members, donors, suppliers, corporate partners and volunteers

Skills Required
  
You have 3 to 5 years’ experience in successfully delivering community fundraising programs and key events within the non-profit sector. As a natural leader and communicator, you will be happy to work both operationally and strategically and mentor two direct reports. You’re able to demonstrate the following;
  • A thorough understanding of the fundraising lifecycle
  • Results driven and motivated, with strong project and budget management skills
  • A creative approach to fundraising, and able to share ideas on what to stop doing, keep doing and start doing to achieve organisational goals
  • Tertiary qualifications in marketing or related discipline
  • A working knowledge of CRM’s and experience of donor data analysis
