The Role
  
You will be part of a team who are responsible for maximising revenue and income growth of OCA’s fundraising events and campaigns. Working closely with the Development Manager, you will coordinate, encourage and support fundraisers to ensure their own community events are a success.
  
You will do this by:
  • Helping take to market and innovate new fundraising products to diversify OCA’s revenue
  • Assisting the Development Manager with implementing community fundraising and donor retention strategies across digital, direct mail, telemarketing and SMS channels
  • Coordinate P2P community fundraising campaigns, including events such as the FIA award-winning Workout4Women
  • Oversee all supporter care communications, ensuring a positive fundraiser and donor experience
  • Work with an incredible community to help bring their fundraising events to life
  • Monitor progress against annual income targets and evaluate ROI effectiveness

Skills Required
  
You have 1 to 2 years’ experience in fundraising or events within the non-profit sector, or relevant experience from other industries. You take initiative, you’re highly adaptable and can effectively manage deadlines and stakeholders with competing demands and tasks.
  
You’re also able to demonstrate the following;
  • Familiar with promoting community events, either face to face, online or over the phone
  • A good understanding of community engagement and data-driven direct marketing or fundraising campaigns
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong attention to detail
  • A working knowledge of CRM’s and experience with data analysis
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
