Ovarian Cancer Australia (OCA) is the leading national body for ovarian cancer in Australia. Founded in 2001 by a group of people personally affected by ovarian cancer, their vision is to save lives and ensure that no woman with ovarian cancer walks alone. Working closely with the Development Manager, you will organise, coordinate and evaluate the development and implementation of cross-channel donor acquisition and retention strategies through direct marketing channels, including direct mail, email, phone and SMS.

Skills Required
You have fundraising or marketing experience within the non-profit sector, or relevant experience from other industries. You take initiative, you’re highly adaptable and can effectively manage deadlines and stakeholders with competing demands and tasks.

Working closely with the Development Manager, you will organise, coordinate and evaluate the development and implementation of cross-channel donor acquisition and retention strategies through direct marketing channels, including direct mail, email, phone and SMS.
You will do this by:
- Driving cross channel donor acquisition and retention strategies across digital and direct mail
- Developing briefs and creative copy content for all direct marketing channels, including writing and sending edm’s
- Liaising and building relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the coordination of appeals
- Monitoring and evaluating campaign performance to ensure targets are met
- Coordinating data segmentation, targeting and mapping donor journeys
Skills Required
You have fundraising or marketing experience within the non-profit sector, or relevant experience from other industries. You take initiative, you’re highly adaptable and can effectively manage deadlines and stakeholders with competing demands and tasks.
You’re also able to demonstrate the following;
- Coordinating data-driven direct marketing campaigns, including post campaign analysis and understanding of segmentation approaches
- Ability to manage multiple projects, negotiate and problem solve
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Copy writing and editing skills with a strong attention to detail
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
