The Role
Reporting to the CEO this role is responsible for developing the digital strategy, maintaining engagement across all digital channels including a) online campaigns - building long-term organising power and b) fundraising - delivering donor acquisition, social media advertising and supporter engagement growth goals.
Managing the content producer you will develop compelling online content, including email blasts, web, social media and video content. You will also write, load and format online petitions and letter campaigns. Other responsibilities include;
Ideally your digital skills have been developed in an advocacy, campaigning, fundraising or a like-minded environment with a knowledge of and dedication to climate justice.You have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to write highly engaging campaign and fundraising/marketing copy for a variety of audiences and platforms.

The Role

- Managing the website, social media accounts and the supporter databases - Action Network, Action Kit and NationBuilder
- Provide digital engagement support and database management training
- Support staff with technical assistance, including HTML, graphic design, database reports and data analysis.
Ideally your digital skills have been developed in an advocacy, campaigning, fundraising or a like-minded environment with a knowledge of and dedication to climate justice.You have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to write highly engaging campaign and fundraising/marketing copy for a variety of audiences and platforms.
You also have the following experience;
- Developing digital supporter, member or customer journeys
- Developing, implementing and reporting on digital fundraising/marketing campaigns
- Working with CRM’s, managing databases and generating and analysing reports
- Ability to work collaboratively in close coordination with a remote team
- Designing and implementing basic digital advertising campaigns across social media platforms, especially Facebook
- Basic front-end web development skills (HTML, CSS) and in the Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) and with video editing software
- Experience managing a WordPress website, or other content systems
