The Role

Be the person to take Sunnyhaven Disability Services into its next critical phase of growth. The Chief Executive Officer, working in partnership with the Board, will lead the organisation from an existing position to new beginnings with a strong position.  You will be a strong cultural and transformational leader, experienced in building brand, raising awareness and able to identify and attract new opportunities.
You will be the driver of the organisation’s strategic vision with a focus on clients, staff, systems, and growth. You will have compelling financial management skills whilst maintaining a focus on developing culture and our most important asset – our staff.   You are committed to excellence.
You will also:
  • Build and maintain a high performing culture within the organisation
  • Oversee the fiscal activities of the organization including budgeting, reporting and audit
  • Develop community relations and advocate within the public and private sectors
  • Ensure compliance with NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Requirements
Skills Required

You will have demonstrated experience leading a like-minded community driven organisation, with a proven track record in strategic development. You have exceptional professional relationship and partnership building skills with a history of fostering ongoing collaboration with external agencies.
You are a personable, results oriented, agile, and inspiring cross functional leader comfortable working with ambiguity, whose leadership, commercial acumen, and operational skills are at the core of your success in delivering organisational growth and influence.
Overall, you have:
  • Passionate advocacy skills at local and state and level
  • Leadership experience in a consumer-centred organisation
  • An understanding of community health, care, and community services
  • Demonstrated experience and comfort with boards and sub committees
  • Demonstrated experience leading a cross-functional team and changing culture
  • A track record of financial and risk oversight, establishment of management disciplines
  • Familiarity with negotiation and management of fee driven and government funding
