The Role

You will ensure the LAC service delivery objectives are achieved in the Western Sydney region. Providing leadership, supervision and support to front line team leaders, you will safeguard program delivery in accordance with the Information, Linkages and Capacity Building (ILC) policy. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Manage targets, KPIs and strategic objectives
  • Coach, manage and mentor front line team leaders
  • Manage the recruitment, training and retention of staff
  • Stay up to date with organisational and sector changes
  • Drive quality outcomes and create a culture of excellence
  • Deliver to organisational reporting and budget responsibilities
  • Provide strategies to support a high level of performance in the region
  • Contribute to positive relationships with service providers, community groups and relevant agencies

Skills Required

You are a successful experienced people manager with an in-depth understanding of working within complex human services environments. Your skills have been developed from a career in either disability, disability employment services or other community services motived organisations that are driven by providing people centred care.
Overall, you will be able to demonstrate the following:
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and adapt to change
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement and relationship management
  • Management of large diverse multi-site teams with a focus on service delivery
  • Capability to achieve KPIs, targets and the successful delivery of service level agreements
  • Encouraging professional growth and career development of leaders and team members
  • An understanding of legislative and regulatory requirements and of the NDIS funding model and processes
  • Successful implementation of strategic, operational and continuous improvement plans to achieve operational and budgetary outcomes 
You will need to be flexible with some after hours and or weekend work and travel within the Western Sydney. Additionally, you must be able to fulfill the mandatory requirements:
  • Hold a valid driver’s license
  • Working with Children Check clearance
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance
  • National and State Criminal History Check clearance
