The Organisation
  
Our client is committed to preventing cruelty to animals by actively promoting their care and protection. This organisation works with local councils, state and federal governments and other interested groups, including community organisations, wildlife authorities, farmers and professional associations. They will also accept animals offered into their care where there are the facilities, resources and legal capacity to do so.


The Role
  
Reporting to the Philanthropy Manager, you will be responsible for:-
  • Conducting research to identify potential donors and supporters
  • Coordination of major giving direct mail campaign
  • Support the creation of grant applications
  • Coordinate and undertake regular communications with donors
  • Ensure the maintenance of accurate and detailed records of gifts and donors


Skills Required
  
You will be experienced in the area of fundraising and have:
  • A fundraising or marketing & communications background from the non-profit sector
  • Experience of writing grant applications and an understanding of various fundraising streams
  • Advanced administration and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of CRM systems and data integrity
  • Proven ability to provide excellent donor/customer care
