The Role

In this newly created role, you will be an integral member of the commissioning team, and will support the commissioning of services and solutions to achieve a more robust and connected health system for those with chronic conditions.
Responsibilities include;
  • Identification of local health needs and trends
  • Planning, monitoring and evaluation of contracted services
  • Facilitate consultation with key stakeholders including consumers and carers
  • Contract management ensuing services are delivered in an effective, contemporary and safe manner
  • Provide evidence based reporting and advice to enhance healthcare outcomes, service performance and consumer experience

Skills Required

You have demonstrated ability in commissioning or contract management within health or human services and are able to design solutions to achieve improved outcomes. Additionally, your background will include:
  • Experience working in project or management roles in the health sector
  • The ability to present information to audiences with chronic conditions
  • Demonstrable understanding of the health landscape and available support provisions
  • Experience working closely in collaboration with stakeholders to achieve the desired results
  • A track record of implementing positive system change resulting in better health outcomes
  • Capability to work across multi-disciplined teams and operate in a person centred environment
