The Organisation

Future Tracks is a programmatic stream of The Front Project working with the early learning sector to build the quality of their professional practice and upskill their qualifications.
Upskill is an innovative new program developed in response to a clear need to address the shortfall of sophisticated early childhood supports to help Diploma trained educators upskill to become bachelor trained teachers with some of Australia’s leading universities.
The Upskill program suite empowers Australia’s early childhood professionals to deliver outcomes that will strengthen communities and help children to thrive.

The Role

Reporting to the Director of Programs, this newly created senior position is responsible for increasing the number of partner organisations and participants enrolled and engaged with the Future Tracks suite of programs.
Responsibilities include-
  • Develop and implement a strategic business development plan to scale delivery of Future Track programs and meet sector needs
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and prospective clients including early education care providers, universities and students
  • Contribute to operations and program planning in collaboration with the Program Director
  • Develop opportunities to extend the business model in collaboration with the CEO.

Skills Required

You are a seasoned business development or sales professional, a strategic thinker with an ability to work collaboratively. Your creativity and business acumen will support your ability to develop and retain partnerships.
A foundation knowledge of early childhood education would be advantageous but not essential combined with an adaptable style that enables you to feel comfortable working in relational high impact environment.
You can demonstrate an ability to:-
  • Develop meaningful continuing relationships with new and prospective clients
  • Work with minimal supervision and be self-motivated within a long sales cycle
  • Identify, research and recommend new clients in accordance with strategic plans.
