The Organisation

Blue Knot Foundation’s core mission is to support the recovery of adult survivors of childhood trauma. They offer a range of important services including the Blue Knot Helpline, Trauma Informed Case Management to support applicants applying for the National Redress Scheme, National Counselling and Referral Service  supporting the Disability Royal Commission, educational workshops, professional development training, supervision, consultancy and other services.

The Role

Reporting to the National Manager, Training and Services, you will be responsible for the end to end administration of the foundations in-house and public training programs. In this role you will draw on your high level of people skills and compassionate telephone manner, attention to detail, and ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
Some of the tasks associated with this role are: 
  • Record and respond to training enquiries
  • Generate quotes and booking agreements
  • Manage the training bookings database
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure logistics and resources and managed for training facilitators
  
Skills and Experience Required

You are an administration professional with a solid understanding of the Not-for Profit sector and of trauma informed practices who brings initiative and innovation to your work.

You possess a positive motivated attitude, the ability to think on your feet, maintain confidentiality while managing multiple projects and a real team player.
  

Essential criteria:
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Have an understanding of complex trauma and the impact on survivors, their families and carers
  • Experience working in an evolving workplace
  • Ability to manage difficult conversations
  • High level of proficiency using the Microsoft Office suite
