The Role
  
In this newly created role, you will build upon the existing pipeline of supporters and oversee a small, remote team of tele-fundraisers to increase the number of regular givers. You’ll manage all aspects of the regular giving program and coordinate campaigns to ensure supporters are consistently engaged in the work of the organisation. This includes:
  • Donor care and retention, acquisition and growth, and upgrades and renewals
  • Driving supporter engagement to convert one off donors to monthly donors
  • Working alongside the digital fundraising team to acquire new regular donors via digital marketing strategies
  • Reporting on regular giving campaigns using data analytics and segmentation


Skills Required
  
With a background in campaigning or fundraising, you will understand the importance of donor journeys and have been involved with increasing supporter engagement and donations within a regular giving program. This could be in a political, advocacy, or not-for-profit context. In addition, you bring:  
  • Understanding and literacy of telefundraising and recurring donation metrics
  • Proficiency in campaign reporting, using CRMs and telefundraising platforms (ideally NationBuilder and CallHub) to track engagement and drive insights and optimisation   
  • Success improving acquisition and retention rates
  • Awareness and understanding of Australian politics, policy and the role of the Australia Institute in driving change
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
