Kelly is a motivated and resilient recruiter with strong communication skills gained over her multi-faceted career, and has a goal-orientated outlook honed by her success as an elite athlete—having represented Australia in softball.

Bringing over 10 years’ experience in recruiting to her position at NGO Recruitment, Kelly loves being able to build lasting relationships with clients and inspire talented candidates to consider how their skills are valuable or transferrable within the non-profit sector.

Kelly takes the time to understand each organisation and what they need, without relying on preconceived notions. She carefully takes a brief, communicates clearly at every step, and treats everyone with the utmost respect. While she’s highly process-driven, Kelly flexibly adjusts depending on what works best for her clients and candidates.

She has filled critical leadership and frontline roles for a variety of organisations, many in the social work, disability services, community health, education and family support sectors. Kelly has placed multiple staff for Blue Knot Foundation, including numerous people with niche knowledge of complex trauma to provide the Foundation’s core phone and web-based counselling services. Kelly has also excelled in recruiting marketing, philanthropy, fundraising and advocacy positions to underpin key campaigns and projects.

Kelly’s career history has exposed her to diverse people and ideas, which has further strengthened her innate creativity and adaptability. Degree-qualified in communication, she’s held roles responsible for internal recruitment within the education and health and fitness sectors.

Given her passion for softball, it’s no surprise that Kelly continues to volunteer as a coach to support up and coming players. She also a nature lover and supports environmental causes.
