Hayley is an expert in placing people into distinctive roles, specialised industries and growing teams. Friendly and unflappable, she rises to the challenge of finding candidates to match nuanced job requirements, operating environments and workplace cultures.
Recruiting has been Hayley’s forte for more than 20 years. She brought her considerable skills to NGO Recruitment in 2021 and has filled a variety of C-suite and operational roles for non-profits including playing a key role in sourcing managers and professional staff to support the establishment of a significant national centre for child protection.
Hayley is easy-going and consultative but tackles each conversation and task head-on, with the goal of not wasting people’s time in the pursuit of the best available candidate. She’s comfortable liaising with Boards and senior executives to build relationships and develop in-depth briefs, and constructively engages candidates. Clients and candidates alike appreciate her honesty, kindness and objectivity.
Hayley understands niche recruiting: she has a talent for determining the core requirements of specialised roles, creating enticing value propositions and exploring the right networks to engage elusive candidates.
With a track record of working as a recruiter across the retail, SME, HR, design, textile and apparel industries, Hayley has successfully attracted candidates for frontline through to C-suite roles based in Australia and globally—including creatives for high-end fashion houses, supply chain and product specialists, and leaders for emerging start-ups.
Away from the office Hayley is kept busy raising her three sons, makes an effort to regularly exercise and eat healthy, and supports charities that help the homeless.
