Our client is a non-profit community organisation that simplifies complex processes to connect individuals with needed support services. They assist people, families, and caregivers in accessing health and social care services efficiently.

The Role
  
Reporting to the Manager, Finance & Compliance, you will be responsible for all weekly and monthly accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks. You will also be assisting with:
  • Reconciling customer accounts and generating monthly balance reports
  • Allocating payments in the accounting system for transaction tracking
  • Handling claims processing and addressing any issues with government departments
  • Monitoring and reconciling bank and credit card accounts
  • Processing invoices and maintaining the accounts receivable ledger
  • Providing customer service to clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders

Skills Required

  
You will be an experienced finance or accounts officer from the NFP sector, ideally in an aged care or NDIS related environment. You will also hold:
  • At least 3 years’ experience in accounting or finance roles
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and confident using Xero
  • Proficiency in high-volume data processing
  • Ability to provide account updates, interpret data, and produce reconciliation summaries
  • Skilled in communicating effectively at all levels
  • Tertiary qualifications in accounting
