Our client is a not-for-profit organisation centered around providing creative outlets to young people from vulnerable communities.

The Role
  
Working closely with the Executive Director & Operations Manager, you will be responsible for handling all administrative and bookkeeping duties such as:
  • Credit card reconciliations and expense claims
  • Organising and scheduling internal and external meetings
  • Issue invoices and receipts using Xero
  • Manage bi-weekly payroll and corresponding timesheets
  • Facilitate new staff onboarding and documentation collection
  • Provide AP and AR support and general office management assistance

Skills Required
  
You will be an experienced accounts officer or bookkeeper who is familiar with working in a non-profit environment, and be able to demonstrate: 
  • Experience in Salesforce, Xero, MS Office and Google Suite
  • Skilled in managing payroll for up to 30 staff, with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong administrative skills with the ability to communicate effectively
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Ability to work autonomously and to competing deadlines
