The Role
Working closely with the Executive Director & Operations Manager, you will be responsible for handling all administrative and bookkeeping duties such as:
- Credit card reconciliations and expense claims
- Organising and scheduling internal and external meetings
- Issue invoices and receipts using Xero
- Manage bi-weekly payroll and corresponding timesheets
- Facilitate new staff onboarding and documentation collection
- Provide AP and AR support and general office management assistance
Skills Required
You will be an experienced accounts officer or bookkeeper who is familiar with working in a non-profit environment, and be able to demonstrate:
- Experience in Salesforce, Xero, MS Office and Google Suite
- Skilled in managing payroll for up to 30 staff, with excellent attention to detail
- Strong administrative skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Understanding of basic accounting principles
- Ability to work autonomously and to competing deadlines
