- Option to work either 4 or 5 days per week, predominantly in the office
The Role
In this interim acting CEO role, you will oversee creating a vision for success and provide strategic direction, with an aim in this changing environment to improve service delivery. Working with the board and senior management team, you will be responsible to;
- Understand the financial obligations of the organisation including departmental funding agreements and ensure service delivery is working accordingly
- Monthly reports to the Board on risk management, operational outcomes, governance, compliance and regulatory requirements
- Promote a culture of cooperation and support across all program activities
- Engage in the positive promotion of the organisation, via partnerships and local media
- Undertake audit processes internally, with support from senior managers
Skills Required
You are a senior leader within the not-for-profit sector, have finely tuned communication skills and a willingness to collaborate and empathise with internal and external stakeholders, and can demonstrate;
- 5+ years proven experience as a CEO or other executive leadership role
- An in-depth knowledge of general management best practices and corporate governance
- A mature outlook and ability to engage with diverse and complex organisations
- Knowledge of family or child protection and the impact of trauma and issues surrounding neglect
- Excellent public speaking skills, alongside problem-solving and analytical abilities
