With a strong commitment to addressing various social justice issues, they strive to achieve change by challenging oppressive laws, advocating for indigenous rights, and protecting the safety of refugees.

The Role
  
Reporting to the Operations and Finance Director, you will be involved in all aspects of the human resources function, with responsibilities including:
  • Assistance and coaching for performance management processes
  • Provision of generalist HR support to the management team
  • Contribute to all aspects of job design, recruitment, and onboarding
  • Management and implementation of remuneration pay grades, salary surveys, and benchmarking
  • Advise on diversity and inclusion policies, including accessible documentation

Skills Required
  
You will have 5+ years of experience as a senior HR generalist ideally from a non-profit environment, and hold relevant tertiary qualifications alongside the below:
  • Expertise in providing strategically aligned HR solutions to a range of stakeholders
  • Ability to build and maintain positive internal and external relationships
  • Sound working knowledge of Australian industrial relations systems including WHS regulations
  • High-level communication, interpersonal, and emotional intelligence skills
  • Demonstrated experience in workplace conflict resolution methods and application
