NGO Recruitment is a leading provider of executive and temporary staff recruitment services to hundreds of household name not-for-profit organisations, NGO’s and charities in Australia and the Asia Pacific region. With 15 staff across Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane most of our team work virtually and depend upon you to support the recruitment process.  NGO Recruitment is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year.

The Role

Reporting to the operations manager and working closely with our consultants, this pivotal “hands on” role provides general administration support to the business.  You will ensure the smooth and efficient day to day running of our Sydney office and support consultants in other locations. 

This will include:
  • General administrative duties including document formatting and answering the phones.
  • Assist with online advertising and direct marketing campaigns
  • Database maintenance
  • Invoicing and accounts receivable
  • Booking travel, accommodation, venues and team meetings
  • Facilities management – maintain office inventory and equipment and supplier liaison
  • WHS systems and providing first level IT support
  • Safeguarding our accreditation process and systems including auditing

Skills Required

Critical to this role is your willingness to provide helpful and professional support to our team.  You have a positive approach and enjoy helping teams to succeed.  You have incredibly strong time-management skills and an impeccable attention to detail. You have a qualification and general administration experience ideally within a recruitment or sales environment. 

Your natural talents include:
  • At least 2 years’ experience working in business administration
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office and ideally Xero and Job Adder
  • Database management and maintenance of records
  • Being helpful, calm and collected
