The Organisation

Event Coordinator required for 6-months to support a members organisation dedicated to promoting equality within our communities.

The Role

Autonomous 6-month Events Coordinator role, commencing immediately.

As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for every part of the event preparation. Plans are already in place, however you will assist with the following:
  • Organise the conference schedule and engage speakers
  • Take care of the mobile conference app 
  • Oversee event budgets and communicate effectively to management 
  • Facilitate the event set up and closure
  • Liaise with stakeholders from the get go, including; sponsors, speakers, venue managers and suppliers
About the successful candidate, you will have;
  • Bachelor degree in Business (Event Management), Public Relations, Marketing or a similar field
  • Circa 3+ years experience organising events in an autonomous role
  • A demonstrated background managing conference sponsors 
  • Outstanding stakeholder management skills
  • A willingness to jump into the unknown with minimal guidance 
  • Demonstrate a passion and commitment to see this contract through from the beginning for the full 6-months 
  • You will be reliable and available to start within the next 1-2 weeks at the very latest.
