Well-established not-for-profit organisation focused on strengthening Aboriginal communities. 
The Role

You will jump straight into this 6-week contract position and play a leading role in supporting all HR Matters for the organisation.

Reporting directly into the CEO and as the only HR representative in the organisation,  your responsibilities will include:
  • Briefing the CEO on industrial and employee relations matters
  • Undertaking recruitment where required
  • Facilitating annual performance reviews
  • Responding to performance related matters 
  • Guiding Managers towards favorable outcomes for their teams
Skills Required

This role would suit a qualified Manager, Human Resources who is in a position commence work on Monday 26th August 2019 for a 6-week period. 

Specific skills, experience and qualifications required include:
  • Proven ability to successfully develop and implement HR strategies, processes and policies
  • Expertise in stakeholder engagement; ability to influence and collaborate diplomatically
  • A deep understanding of employee relations, awards and enterprise agreements
  • Demonstrated capacity to work autonomously, while consulting and collaborating as needed
  • Degree qualified in Human Resources Management or Industrial Relations – post graduate qualifications highly desirable.
