The Organisation

Our client is a leading not-for-profit service provider supporting and empowering individuals experiencing social disadvantage. 

The Role

Reporting to the Director of Victorian Transferring Services, you will lead a team of two and provide practice & cultural guidance and direction for employees within the newly transferred Disability Services.
You will play a pivotal role throughout your two-month tenure and will have the opportunity to position yourself for the permanent position.
  • Lead a team through a period of change and actively contribute towards improving the lives of community members
  • Work in partnership with teams to implement and promote best practice in service delivery 
  • Effectively work in conjunction with senior management and contribute to strategic planning
  • Implement and manage performance strategies
  • Actively contribute as a member of the Victorian Disability Accommodation Supports leadership team
  • Monitor and approve the development of legislative reports such as supervised treatment orders and behaviour support plans.
About you

You are an immediately available and experienced leader with demonstrated experience overseeing the delivery of varied large-scale programs. 
  • Tertiary qualification in Human Services, Social Sciences, Psychology or a related field
  • A background in leadership and people management skills
  • Experience in service monitoring and supervision practices
  • Strong influencing skills and a demonstrated background working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders
  • Experience with providing advice, support, coaching and mentoring in particular in PCAS and PBS.
