The Role

The role of the Country Programme Manager is to lead Plan Philippines’ Gender Equality & Inclusion Team to develop effective programming that furthers gender equality, promotes gender justice and fosters an inclusive society where children's rights are realized and equality for girls can be achieved. This role provides country-wide support for technical thought leadership, program and technical management, resource mobilization, networking and advocacy.


Skills Required
  
In order to excel in this leadership role you will need:
  • Strong leadership, program and project management skills.
  • The ability to represent Plan Philippines’ strategy professionally to senior and national-level stakeholders.
  • Strong technical writing skills and technical working group leadership experience.
  • Experience in advocacy and promoting gender equality and inclusion.
  • Experience liaising with INGOs, local civil society partners, and government bodies in the Philippines is an advantage.
  
Native level Tagalog and good English language skills are essential.
