Butterfly advocates for improved services from both government and independent sources whilst raising public awareness in the media and via community debate. The Foundation operates the National Eating Disorders Helpline, a range of innovative clinical treatment and support programs across Australia, and delivers prevention initiatives in schools and the community.
  
The Foundation has recently committed to the development of Australia’s first residential treatment facility for eating disorders with its joint venture partner endED. The eating disorder sector has also welcomed major Medicare reform to improve access and affordability.

The Role
  
In this specifically created role you will work closely with the CEO, the board, endED, clinical directors, community and other stakeholders to deliver the post construction transition to operations of a unique residential care facility on the Queensland Sunshine Coast.
  
With construction due for completion in mid 2020, you will refine and own the project planning to bring endED Butterfly House to opening. You will develop and lead the project life cycle, delivering all functions to support the facility, based on and fitting in to a new model of care, including:
  • maintaining high level key stakeholder engagement
  • monitoring compliance in accordance with key agreements governing the project
  • providing governance including reporting to project related boards and the government
  • planning and overseeing soft fit out, signage, alarms, intercoms
  • coordinating facility services, power, water, waste management, information technology
  • refining and monitoring budgets and developing facility KPIs and measurement methods
  • collaborating with the Residential Clinical Director to develop intake and assessment processes
  • developing non clinical policies & procedures, risk & safety management frameworks and business continuity planning
  • working with the Residential Clinical Director to develop quality system frameworks and procedures


Skills Required

You are a solutions focused, hands on and broadly skilled project manager with the ability to articulate and implement vision. You bring enthusiasm balanced with a focus on governance and you have a proven track record in successfully delivering complex projects to timeline and budget, including:
  • identifying scope of works and creating project plans, timelines and costings
  • collating project data and reporting to stakeholders and project related boards
  • demonstrating high level attention to detail, planning processes and scheduling
  • engaging, building and maintaining relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
  • tender, selection and contracts management
  • project budgeting and financial management
  • quality, risk and safety control and business continuity planning
