The Organisation
  
The Kids’ Cancer Project is one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in Australia. Since 1993, with strong community support the organisation has been able to contribute tens of millions of dollars to scientific studies to help children with many types of cancer.
  
The organisation has recently embarked on a new five year strategic plan which includes ambitious goals to significantly increase revenue streams and data driven income to support the bold science to improve childhood cancer treatments.
  
The Kids’ Cancer Project’s vision is to see a one hundred per cent survival rate for children with cancer while eradicating the harmful impacts treatment can bring.

The Role

Working strategically across fundraising, marketing, community relations and communications, you and your team will deliver strong data services via the analysis and interpretation of data to ensure best practice in developing viable customer and donor relationships. Your data management practices will focus on integrity whilst driving future marketing intelligence.


Skills Required
  
You have a strong background in data analysis and interpretation, data-driven marketing and team management. Ideally you have previous experience in a fundraising or membership driven environment with knowledge of CRM’s such as Raisers Edge, which is the current platform in use. Alternatively, you have commercial sector experience and are looking to transition into a best practice NFP marketing and fundraising environment.  Additionally you will have:
  • Tertiary qualifications with appropriate technical and work experience
  • Experience using and applying data modelling, analytics and visualisation tools
  • Working knowledge of SQL, Access, and advanced Excel techniques
  • Demonstrated ability to drive innovation
  • Experience working across multiple projects and project teams concurrently
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships
