Cystic Fibrosis Community Care (CFCC) is a peak not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting the Cystic Fibrosis (CF) community in New South Wales and Victoria. Founded in 1974 by a group of parents of children with CF, they have a rich history of working across several key focus areas including programs and services, research, fundraising, public awareness, education, and advocacy.

The Role
  
As part of the Fundraising and Marketing team, you will work closely with CFCC’s active fundraising community, supporting them with their own events and ensuring a fun and supportive fundraising experience. Working as part of a small team, your responsibilities will include:
  • Establish and maintain relationships with community fundraisers, partners and sponsors
  • Encourage participation and engagement with peer to peer events and activities
  • Work with the marketing team to promote communication around the fundraising options
  • Monitor trends via data analytics and segmentation across the CRM
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of community fundraising and events strategies

Skills Required
  
You will have experience of community fundraising, campaigns and event coordination and be able to show a commitment to the non-profit sector. With a willingness to learn and an interest in developing and sharing new concepts, you can also demonstrate:
  • High level relationship building skills, liaising with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Proficiency in the use of fundraising and marketing platforms
  • An understanding of social media, communications and digital marketing practices
  • An ability to analyse data to find actionable insights to assist with future campaigns and events
