The Organisation
The European Climate Foundation’s (ECF) International Energy Programme works across the world to support civil society efforts to engage on energy issues in the interests of clean air and a safe climate. In Southeast and East Asia (SEEA) it works to support civil society efforts to transform the electricity system away from fossil fuels and to clean energy sources.

The Role
An experienced Monitoring and Evaluation Manager is required to support the SEEA Programme team to develop a robust monitoring and evaluation process and to support grantees in achieving excellence in their work.
  • Provide technical M&E guidance for effective monitoring and reporting.
  • Develop a multi-layer M&E framework and s/w solution to systematise monitoring, evaluation and reporting (with s/w consultant support).
  • Maintain a responsive system that can identify needs for operational and strategic decision-making and support performance evaluation and accountability.
  • Lead the analysis and reporting on programme performance.

Skills Required
  • 5-8 years’ experience in quantitative/qualitative analytics and M&E management.
  • Experience in the NGO sector, in M&E for policy engagement or advocacy campaigns is preferred.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and technical presentation skills in English. Working ability in regional language of location a plus.
  • Capacity to work effectively in a range of cultural and socio-economic contexts, with colleagues for whom English is a second language.
  • Masters level degree or higher preferred.
CONTRACT: 12-month initial contract, full-time position, possibility of renewal based on performance.

LOCATION:  Home-based with regional travel. Flexible location: South/Southeast/East Asia or Australia. Open to candidates with local work rights only.
