NGO Recruitment’s NFP Hiring insights and salary snapshot 2022

Executive Consultant, Melbourne

Anna purposefully combines her substantial recruiting experience and her passion for social justice at NGO Recruitment—to place quality candidates into governance and executive roles that help ensure non-profits can serve their communities better.

She expertly builds relationships with clients and candidates to find people with the right qualities and experience to excel in evolving, increasingly lean and evidence-based NGO operating models while also keeping an organisation’s mission front of mind. How? Anna remains highly responsive to clients’ needs, conducts in-depth conversations to gauge candidates’ knowledge, and delivers honest feedback in an empathetic way.

With more than 25 years’ recruitment industry experience, Anna specialises in sourcing Board members, CEOs and other senior leadership and operational roles across Victoria and nationally. She welcomes the opportunity to work closely with not-for-profit Boards—from startups through to established institutions—to understand their vision for strategic growth and share her understanding of talent and market trends to adaptively reach the desired outcome.

Some highlights for Anna include helping growing community services agencies such as CommUnity Plus to recruit both an interim and permanent CEO, as well placing a number of key executives for Plan International to support a major restructure. Helping education and early childhood organisations to hire has also been a focus for Anna: she previously served on the Board of a childhood development group for over seven years, so she knows this space well.

Before joining NGO Recruitment in 2018, Anna worked as a senior recruiter and  researcher for leading brands such as Talent2, Michael Page, UniSuper, and McArthur, as well as running her own successful executive search consultancy.
