The Role

This newly created role works closely with the Regional Secretary to efficiently complete and set up all financial processes. This includes taking responsibility for the preparation of reports and setting up new processes; 
  • Calculation and payment of wages for both a small team
  • Preparation of BAS for the ATO
  • Accounts payable and accounts receivable duties, primarily tracking and recording invoices
  • Preparation of final month end, quarterly and year end reports
Skills Required

The ideal candidate will have a background working in the not-for-profit sector and will have a positive approach towards union federations.  
  
You will have excellent working knowledge of MYOB and Excel and be comfortable implementing financial processes with minimal guidance.  A qualification in business of finance is also a requirement for this role.
